GolinHarris is a full-service international communications firm with approximately 34 offices around the world. In 2011, the company announced a reorganization of its employees' job titles and roles in order to keep pace with changes in consumer behavior. The changes include replacing traditional generalist titles like account executive and account supervisor, with new, specialist titles like strategist and catalyst. Mr. Cook was the architecht of this innovative change, called "the g4 model." In a New York Times article he said “We’re reorganizing around the areas that are important to our clients, areas that are not perceived as strengths in public relations: strategy, creativity, technology, analytics.”
